Costs Php 18.64 per serving
Ingredients:
200 grams dried spaghetti
1 can (155 grams) sardines in tomato sauce
2 tbsps oil
1 onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 teaspon curry powder
1 tbsp hot sauce
½ cup tomato sauce
2 tbsps fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
Cooking Directions:
- Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain, reserving ¼ cup pasta water, and set aside.
- In a large sauté pan over medium heat, heat oil. Add onions and then garlic, sautéing until softened. Add powder and sauté until fragrant. Add sardines, including tomato sauce, and mash with a spoon. Pour in tomato sauce and hot sauce, and let simmer until thickened slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add spaghetti and toss until well combined. Add pasta water if dy. Season again if desired. Stir in parsley before serving. Serve while hot.
